This Christmas please help a child in our care to spend a little time with their families by sponsoring a food parcel to ease and sustain their home visit.
The truth is that all children want and need to spend time with their families, no... matter how challenging their home environment is. To make this possible for the 75 children in our residential care programme, and over and above the monitoring , transport and other expenses we incur in doing this, it is necessary that we provide each child with a food parcel to the value of R220 to take home. This parcel consists of 2.5KG Maize Meal, 2.5kg Sugar, 2 Kg rice, peanut butter, 2 tins pilchards, 2 tins bully beef, 2 tins baked beans, 2 tins sweet corn, Jam, biscuits and some sweets.
Please be so kind therefore as to eft your contribution directly into our account, reference “food parcel” and we will ensure this money provides as many food parcels as possible.
Please note that we also do strive to provide the neediest of the children who attend our community based drop-in centres with a food parcel each year. In total we therefore strive to provide nearly 200 food parcels over the Christmas period at a total cost of R44 000.
